Myles Garrett dominates again in week 9

The NFL season has officially reached its midpoint. With an additional game added to the schedule this year, 18 weeks ago. Thursday through Monday was week 9 of the regular season.

There were a number of upheavals in Week 9 with Jacksonville beating Buffalo, one of the AFC’s top teams, and Denver beating Dallas after the Broncos relinquished their franchise defenseman. It also remains a winless team as Detroit was on leave this weekend.

As for former Texas A&M players in the league, Myles Garrett continues to dominate this year. The first No. 1 overall pick in school history, Garrett had 1.5 more sacks over the weekend to add to his NFL leader tally. He’s had a sack in every game but one this year and is one of only two players with double-digit sacks at this point. Christian kirk had a big game for Arizona as the Cardinals rebounded from their first loss of the year to claim a victory over San Francisco.

A few players were part of new teams as a perennial All-Pro von Miller was traded from Denver to the Los Angeles Rams last week and a veteran offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi debuted with Baltimore after starting the year in Seattle.

Here’s how all of the NFL Aggies fared in Week Two of the season.
