Once a Runner – Always a Runner – M Club Revival Announced

In Murray State’s 100 years of athletics, there are many people who have played, coached or served. Some had been here for decades anothers for a short time.

Racer Athletics remains one of the main threads of the Murray State University experience.

From the early years of Joe Fulks, Pete Gudauskas, trainers Carlisle Cutchin and Roy Stewart, through today and every year in between, the phrase “Once a runner, always a runner”, still rings true.

In an effort to further engage with Murray State Athletics alumni, the M-Club’s revival could not have been timed better as the Racers enter the competitive era of the Missouri Valley Conference.

“Maintaining a meaningful connection with those who make growth possible is vitally important to our athletic department,” the athletic director said. Nico Yantko. “Our past, current and future honorees are a vital part of the continued success of Murray State Athletics and our tradition of excellence. The M-Club provides us with an excellent opportunity to stay connected with our honorees as part of our goal of serving our student-athletes from recruitment to retirement.”

Murray State wants to connect with former student-athletes, former coaches and staff members. Register online for free at GoRacers.com!
