Wyatt Davis
The following questions relate to current Minnesota Vikings topics, answered by VikingsTerritory. Today is the edition of March 29, approached in a trendy way. If you have any questions, please email them to [email protected]
Please also note: These are opinion-based answers. Some answers will sometimes be incorrect. But we will try to keep this to a minimum.
Q: With all the Diggs tweeting, will he get a contract extension or will he be traded?

A: You’re right that the “Diggs tweets” have started again. No surprise there. He is now the 21st highest paid wide receiver in the entire country – and he is in the Top 5 wide receivers. This riddle causes hoarse.
We expect this to end in a major contract extension. Diggs turns 29 this season, which means he has a few seasons left at the top echelon.
The Bills could trade him for a 1st Rounder or higher. But then, what would have been the use of trading for him two years ago?
Diggs will be paid.
Q: Does Jesse Davis’ signature indicate that Wyatt Davis is the odd one out?

A: Temporarily, yes.
Wyatt Davis will have to go win the job – pure and simple. The former technical staff didn’t like him very much. Otherwise, he would have had playing time.
The Ohio State alum could be a unearthed gem awaiting polish from Kevin O’Connell. Or – Zimmer’s lieutenants might be right that the man stinks. We will see.
We predict Jesse Davis is the “man to beat” at right guard. For the best or for the worst.
Q: Absolutely nothing happened with any team and Anthony Barr. Does that mean he’s coming back?

A: The silence is deafening indeed.
We always maintained that Barr would not return to the Vikings. But it’s so odd that he hasn’t signed elsewhere or been part of any believable Vikings expansion chatter.
Quietude does not mean that he is coming back. He probably won’t be on Vikings 2022. Money is thin in the Minnesota piggy bank.
