Single statistic NFL totals
Josh Allen under 294.5 passing yards – Allen could certainly throw for 300+ yards against the Dolphins as they allow quarterbacks to average close to 334 passing yards per game, which is the worst in the league. That being said, Miami also allows the running backs to average almost 100 rushing yards per game over that same amount of time, so Devin Singletary and Zack Moss should have solid roles in this game. In Week 2, these two teams faced off and the Bills knocked out the Dolphins 35-0 in a game where Allen threw just 179 passing yards. Look for a similar approach in this one.
Trevor Lawrence on 260.5 passing yards – Lawrence has started to warm up in recent weeks as he eclipsed 270 passing yards in his previous two games. He will now get a solid matchup against the Seattle Seahawks who allowed four of the seven teams they faced to throw more than 300 passing yards. It’s also a game where the Jaguars are 3.5-point underdogs and Lawrence could throw some later in the game to try to come back.
Derrick Henry over 106.5 rushing yards – Henry has what is considered a smaller number for him here at just 106.5 rushing yards and will face a Colts team he once ran for 113 yards against in Week 3. In addition to that performance, the Colts have also allowed four other teams to rush. for 99 yards or more out of their backfields. This is a game that should be close and as a result you might see a few more runs from Henry who is already averaging over 27 runs per game.
Michael Pittman Jr. over 59.5 yards on reception – Pittman has been a focal point in this passing game as he’s averaged nearly eight targets per game over the previous six weeks. He’s also managed to eclipse that receiving total in five of those six weeks and gets a solid game in this one. Over the previous four weeks, the Titans have allowed wide receivers an average of nearly 226 receiving yards per game, which is ranked last in the league. They have also allowed a wide receiver to surpass that total in every game so far in 2021.
Darrell Henderson from 79.5 rushing yards – While Henderson has eclipsed that total in just two of his previous five games, it’s a great place for him to have a huge game on the pitch. First off, the Rams will enter this game as 14-point favorites, which is a huge gap and should give Henderson some extra runs down the stretch. Second, and most importantly, the Texans have allowed the most rushing yards to running backs in the previous four weeks, allowing nearly 144 yards per game. They’re also allowing over 5.4 yards per carry over this time frame, so if Henderson can get about 15 carries in this game (he’s averaging 16 per game this season) he should be able to top that total.
Other recommendations – Carson Wentz on 245.5 passing yards, Cordarrelle Patterson on 53.5 rushing yards, Adam Thielen on 63.5 receiving yards
Overall recommendation for this game: FLEX
