Who wins every NFL Week 5 game?

Week 5 of the NFL season could be a watershed week for several NFL teams.

Here are The Arizona Republic’s picks for each game on the NFL Week 5 Schedule, starting with Thursday evening Football’s Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks game and ending with Monday Night Football’s Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens clash.

Click on each game for choices and predictions for that game from other sites. Every hour MST.

Thursday night football

Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks, 5:20 p.m. Fox, NFL Network

A Seahawks victory over the Rams would pull Seattle even with Los Angeles in the division, with the two chasing the Cardinals. We can see this happening in front of the 12th Man in Seattle.

Prediction: Seahawks 27, Rams 24

Sunday very early game

New York Jets vs. Atlanta Falcons, 6:30 a.m., NFL Network

Zach Wilson took a big step forward in the Jets’ victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. He will take another step forward in London with a victory over the Falcons.

Prediction: Jets 24, Falcon 17

The first Sunday matches

Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings, 10 a.m., Fox

The Lions have yet to win this season. We don’t like their chances of winning their first game against an angry Vikings team at home.

Prediction: Vikings 31, Lions 21

New Orleans Saints at Washington Football Team, 10 a.m., CBS

The Saints are an enigma, very good one game and not very good the next. After a tough loss, we think Jameis Winston and his company will look bigger than bad in this one.

Prediction: Saints 24, Washington 16

New England Patriots vs. Houston Texans, 10 a.m., CBS

Mac Jones is getting a lot of love for his game this season. He needs to start helping his team achieve victories. That shouldn’t be a problem against the struggling Texans.

Prediction: Patriots 28, Texans 14

Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 10 a.m., CBS

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers did not impress in their win over the Patriots in Week 4. They will impress in a win over the Dolphins in Week 5.

Prediction: Buccaneers 35, Dolphins 20

Green Bay Packers at Cincinnati Bengals, 10 a.m., Fox

The Bengals are one of the biggest surprises in the league and have had a bit more time to prepare for this one. We like, however, that the road team escapes with a victory.

Prediction: Packers 34, Bengals 31

Denver Broncos at Pittsburgh Steelers, 10 a.m., Fox

Najee Harris has done a little bit of everything for the Steelers this season. Pittsburgh will need him to step up yet again to beat the Broncos.

Prediction: Steelers 21, Broncos 17

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers, 10 a.m., Fox

The Panthers were knocked out of the undefeated ranks in Dallas, but should have a much easier time at home against the Eagles. Look for a big Carolina defense game on Jalen Hurts.

Prediction: Panthers 28, Eagles 20

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars, 10 a.m., CBS

The Titans lost to the Jets in Week 4. A loss to the Jaguars in Week 5 would be truly disastrous. This could be summed up in the thread. Jacksonville has improved lately.

Prediction: Titans 28, Jaguars 27

Sunday late matches

Cleveland Browns at Los Angeles Chargers, 1:05 p.m., CBS

It’s a really intriguing game that could feature a lot of offense. Cleveland’s defense has grown stronger this season and it will escalate late to help the Browns beat the Chargers.

Prediction: Browns 31, Chargers 28

Chicago Bears vs. Las Vegas Raiders, 1:05 p.m., CBS

Can Justin Fields go to Las Vegas and lead the Bears past the Raiders? He’s improving, but we’re not ready to call it upset just yet.

Prediction: Raiders 35, Bear 24

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1:25 p.m., Fox

We thought the Cardinals would struggle against the Rams last week. We were wrong. We don’t think San Francisco can stay with the Cardinals offensively in this one.

Prediction: Cardinals 38, 49ers 24

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys, 1:25 p.m., Fox

The Cowboys appear to be the class of the NFC East at the start of the season. They won’t do anything to change that with a big win over the Giants.

Prediction: Cowboys 28, Giants 17

Sunday night football

Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 5:20 p.m., NBC

This could be a preview of the AFC Championship game. Expect plenty of goals and plenty of fireworks in Kansas City with the home team hanging on for a win.

Prediction: Counts 31, Bills 27

Monday night football

Indianapolis Colts at the Baltimore Ravens, 5:15 p.m., ESPN

The Colts won in Week 4, but will need to play better to beat the Ravens in Week 5. We don’t see that happening.

Prediction: Crows 28, Foals 21
