Why Aaron Rodgers won’t win and win another Super Bowl
In February 2011, 27-year-old Aaron Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl victory. The question then was, how many more can he win? The question shifted to, can he just win one more? The opportunities were there but 4 losses in the NFC Championship Game hurt. Many of them have also been random losses which sting even more. As Aaron Rodgers enters 2022, he knows the Super Bowl window is closing.
Why Aaron Rodgers will win another Super Bowl
The Packers have an extremely talented roster, especially on defense. The Super Bowl team had a top defense. It’s something the Packers teams of the last decade haven’t had. The Packers defense looked bad in Week 1 against the Vikings. However, a lot of the issues were miscommunication, something that should be fixed. If the Packers can field a top 10 defense, that will help Rodgers and the offense. The running back tandem of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon also helps. Being able to build on the running game in January is vital. James Starks came out of nowhere in the playoff race and was a huge chunk of the Packers to make it to the Super Bowl. Finally, the NFC is wide open especially this year. The Packers could have a mediocre season and still end up in a Super Bowl.
Why Aaron Rodgers won’t win another Super Bowl
The list is inexperienced. It was clear on Sunday that the rapport with the receivers just wasn’t there. It is something that can grow but must grow quickly. If Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson aren’t on the same page as Rodgers, the Packers are unlikely to make a deep playoff run. The Packers must also be lucky with some injuries. They’ve had terrible injuries over the past three years. David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Jaire Alexander and many more players missed a lot of time. If the Packers want to make a big run, they need their players to be healthy.
It’s hard to win in this championship. The unique nature of the playoffs leads to a greater risk of upsets. Aaron Rodgers knows his Super Bowl window is closing. The hope is that he can put together one more magical season before retiring.
